The short version

If you use Your Free CV as a guest, your CV never leaves your device — it is stored only in your browser's local storage. We do not receive it. If you create an account, your CVs are stored in our database and protected by row-level security so only you can access them.

What we collect

Guests: nothing personal on our servers; the CV lives in your browser. Account holders: your email address (for passwordless sign-in) and the CV content you choose to save.

Analytics & advertising

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage, and advertising to keep the product 100% free. Ads are never shown on sign-in or legal pages, and we do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

Account holders can export their data or delete their account at any time, which permanently removes all stored CVs. Contact us for any privacy request.
